This past weekend Norman Cheuk and I played in our third Sahalee Member-Guest, our second with him as the member and me, a former Sahalee member, as the guest.
We did quite well.
Thanks to a final-nine meltdown by one of the teams in our flight, we won our six-team flight and snuck our way into the alternate shot finals. Our 40 1/2 score on the North course was good for fourth place overall. We would have finished second but for a quadruple bogey 7 on the par 3 seventeenth. I hit our tee ball in the water; Norman dropped and hit his wedge shot to another watery grave.
