Last night Rhonda and I joined our friends Ted and Cybelle Walsh at Sand Point CC for Bingo Night. It was our first foray into the bingo world.
What a ton of fun.
After “enjoying” an Irish-themed dinner buffet (it wasn’t so bad in candor) we sat down for twelve or so games.
Our table won five of them, with Rhonda earning a W in two and me winning the last game — a blackout.
Perhaps more importantly, our three-man Laurelhurst “team” beat a ViewRidge team of Kai Andrews, Gordon Schryer and Chris Dorling 31-30 in a final-game aggregate blackout challenge. That earned us another $30.
All total Rhonda and I brought home roughly $130 on a $30 investment — not a bad night’s work.
Count us in for Bingo Night 2016.
