The Kids’ First-Ever Mariners Game

Avery, Maddie, Pat, Finn, me and Reese.
Tonight the kids and I joined Pat, Avery and Maddie McKay in the grandstands at Safeco Field for the kids’ first-ever Mariners game. It was two less than powerhouses: the 65-79 Mariners played the even-worse 48-96 Houston Astros.
It’s a good thing we were there for BECU Family Night: according to ESPN, only 9,802 others were in attendance. I’d say that’s being generous.
We spent as much time in the play area as we did in our seats.
Speaking of our seats, a view from them. I was quite happy with them, especially at $10/pop.
With only 9800+ in attendance, the kids had room to roam.
