Today was one of those days you live for.
Reese and I started with 8:20 soccer down at Lil’ Kickers.
From there we picked up Finn and headed back down to Magnuson for a little bike riding and what Reese calls “chase catch tag.”
We weren’t the only ones who had that idea: it was great to see all the other kids on their bikes as well.
After that we grabbed a quick bite up at Sand Point.
From there it was a little r&r followed by a full-family urban hike with Norman and Sophia up through the University of Washington and on to Aqua Verde. Again, we weren’t the only ones who had that idea — I haven’t seen the quad that packed since I was at the UW twenty years ago.
It’s days like this that remind me it isn’t always cold and rainy in Seattle. Some days it’s actually quite nice.
And when it is there’s no place better.
